Page 1   Signal Maintainer Wiring Drawings

This section on the HGE-23 Signal Maintainer covers the installation of the Power to the Board, Wiring to the Signals and the various types of LED's which the board will control and the Logic (How Diode Logic Works) process which provides for the correct input information to the board.  Carefully review each type of signal which you intend to install.   The TOMAR brand is recommended for use with the HGE-23 Signal Maintainer however many other manufactures are controllable.

Power source to the Board can be either AC or DC power.  Voltage of 6 to 24 volts, optional is 12 to 16 volts.

The board will regulate the output voltage to the LED signals without the installation of dropping resistors as manufactures indicate.

The HGE-23 Signal Maintainer can be used with a Card edge connector with a spacing of  0.156 thousands which are available in our price list.  This card edge allows for ease of installation and is recommended but not required, as wiring may be soldered directly to the board.
