By using the HGE-23 Signal Maintainer the reduction of complex relays and wiring connections is reduced. The drawing below illustrates both directions being signaled at a passing siding. Diode logic is used to allow single devices to input logic negative to many different units without a back feed to other devices. See HGE-23 LOGIC SECTION for more details.
No mater which type of Signal you decide to use the wiring to the board would remain the same. So if in the future you decide to install a Searchlight and remove a Vertical aspect no logic wiring needs to be changed only the signal connection as discussed previously.
