The HGE-41 Alternater Unit is a commercially manufactured printed circuit board designed for reversing of Trains Trolleys or devices of your choice. Available fully ASSEMBLED.

The HGE-41 Alternater is an adjustable timing unit so trains may function on various track length. With the adjustable timing the action you desire can be established for your yard switcher, trolley, industrial switcher or track side devices. Timing is adjustable from seconds to minutes in both directions.

The HGE-41 Alternater requires a 12 to 24 volt DC or AC source to power the board operation. Your throttle is attached to the relay connections mounted on the board to control the speed the trains or trolleys over the given section of track. Most throttles have an accessory power connection and this may be used to power the HGE-41 Alternater. No special power supply is needed to power the board.

The HGE-41 Alternater incorporates the use of a Double Pole Double Throw Relay to alternate the power going to the track in the same manner as a throttle reversing switch. Using a DC throttle you can control a timed reversing sequence for the section of track you choose. The HGE-41 Alternater provides for a diorama operation without the need of you reversing the train power, giving your layout auto operation in that section of track.

The HGE-41 Alternater can be used to control block signals or street lights turning them on and off at an adjusted rate. The HGE-41 Alternater can also be used to control a Station Stop on your railroad, no matter which direction the train is traveling in when approaching the station.

The HGE-41 Alternater carries a one year limited warrantee on board and components from date of purchase. Limited to repair or replacement at the option of HGE.
